Patrick M. Higgins, who graduates from NYU’s Global Liberal Studies Program this spring, has been named an Arthur Russell Morgan Fellow in Human Rights by the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights. The institute is part of the University of Cincinnati’s College of Law.

Under the renewable fellowship, Higgins will serve on the editorial staff of Human Rights Quarterly, a leading academic journal in the human rights field, and will have an international human rights internship underwritten by the Institute.

Higgins, an Ohio native who studied last year at NYU Buenos Aires, wrote his senior thesis on the politicalization of immigration law in the state of Ohio.
