The series will feature author readings and more throughout the fall.

The King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center at New York University will hold four public KJCC Poetry Series events this fall. All of these events begin at 7:00 p.m. and are held at the Center located 53 Washington Square South, between Thompson and Sullivan streets, New York, N.Y. Admission is free. No RSVP is required.

• September 27: Presentation of the anthology Invencible del amor la fortaleza. Once poetas Iberoamericanas en Nueva York, Hostos Review / Revista Hostosiana, issue 8, 2011. Introduced by Guest Editor Héctor Velarde and Isaac Goldenberg, Editor of the publication. Poets included in the issue will read selections of their work.

• October 18: Reading by two Argentine poets from different hemispheres: María Mascheroni and Luisa Futoransky.

• November 1: Presentation of the book “Spit Temple: The Selected Performances of Cecilia Vicuña”, edited and translated by Rosa Alcalá, Ugly Duckling Presse, New York, Fall 2012. Cecilia Vicuña will perform and Rosa Alcalá will discuss the process of editing and translating the oral improvisatory performances by Vicuña.

• November 15: Renowned Spanish poet and translator Luis Muñoz will read selections of his latest work.
