The New York University Creative Writing Program’s Fall 2012 Reading Series begins in September with events featuring Zadie Smith (Sept. 27), Lydia Davis (Sept. 29), and contributors to the literary magazine Granta (Sept. 20). All events are held in the program’s Greenwich Village home, the Lillian Vernon Creative Writers House, located at 58 W. 10th Street, unless otherwise noted.

Reader Vievee Francis won the 2010 Poetry Prize for “Horse in the Dark”. The event will include readings by Sheila Carter-Jones and Mitchell L. H. Douglas, with an introduction by Gregory Pardlo. The event is co-sponsored with Cave Canem Foundation.
