Nine alumni from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts (TSOA), Gallatin School of Individualized Study, and the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development are among the NYU nominees for the 84th Academy Awards.
Alumnus Billy Crystal to Host the Feb. 26 Telecast
The 2012 Academy Awards telecast for outstanding film achievements will be broadcast on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Hosting the Oscar ceremony will be TSOA alumnus Billy Crystal (’70), who is returning for the ninth time as the host. TSOA Dean's Council member Brian Grazer is a producer.
