NOTE TO PLANNING AND ASSIGNMENT EDITORS

The parade provides very good, cute, daylight shots of kids in costumes parading around the park accompanied by parents. Good complement for coverage of the adult parade.

Shira and Friends will perform followed by NYU students– including NYU music groups, and cheerleaders– and assist with distributing treats.

The 21st Annual NYU and CB2 Parade is sponsored by: The Villager Newspaper, Lucille Lortel Theatre, Washington Square Hotel, NYU Family Care, McDonald's, Morton Williams, Con Edison, Washington Square Association, Bedford Barrow Commerce Block Association, NOHO NY BID, Kmart, Bob and Elaine Schneider, The Village Alliance, McBurney YMCA, Collins Building Services Inc., Murphy & Gonzalez, Sky Management Corporation, M&M Sanitation Corporation, NYU Parenting Club/Office of Alumni Relations, NYU Administrative Management Council, and NYU Bookstores.
