NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program to Host 2nd Annual Women Entrepreneurs Festival, Jan. 17 & 18

Enrollment Capacity Expanded to 250; Application Deadline is Nov. 11

Are you a Pre-Entrepreneur? Are you thinking of starting a business?  Then the 2nd Annual Women Entrepreneurs (WE) Festival is for you.

The WE Festival will be hosted, once again, by the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) in the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.  The Festival’s goal is to sow the seeds for a community of women entrepreneurs in NYC, to expose women who have not yet taken the entrepreneurial leap, the pre-entrepreneurs, to the women who have.

The WE Festival will be held Wednesday and Thursday, January 17 and 18, 2012.  Attendance this year has been expanded to accommodate 250 participants.  The application deadline for attendance is Nov. 11, 2011.  For more detailed information and to apply, visit http://itp.nyu.edu/we/2012.

The WE Festival is an extraordinary gathering of outstanding women entrepreneurs and investors eager to share their knowledge and experiences with other women starting — or on the brink of starting — their own businesses.  This year the keynote speaker will be Arianna Huffington of The Huffington Post.
