Wall Street Journal online executive editor Alan Murray will moderate a group of experts as they grapple with how media coverage affects the international community's response to humanitarian crises all over the world.

NYU Wagner presents 'Humanitarian Emergencies & The Role of the Media' - Sept. 22

Whether it's the Arab Spring, the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the Libyan refugee crisis, or the famine in East Africa, the media influences and challenges what we see, think, and feel.
