NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music Announces The Members of Its First Advisory Board

New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music in the Tisch School of the Arts has announced the members of its first Advisory Board.  Board members will serve in an advisory capacity and offer advice and guidance whenever called upon to the Institute and its chair.  The successful entrepreneurs and business executives comprising the Board will also interact with other business and music industry leaders to help provide Recorded Music students with opportunities for learning beyond the classroom walls.

The Recorded Music program was designated an Institute this spring with the renewal of a gift of $5 million by its namesake, Clive Davis.  As the Institute looks to expand and grow, Advisory Board members will also play a key role in assisting with raising awareness of its programs and initiatives.  Members will be expected to  focus on soliciting funds to help provide students with much needed scholarships, as well as to allow for facilities expansion, improvements in software and technology, and tools for project incubation.

“I'm honored that this group of esteemed executives and entrepreneurs, with their wealth of knowledge and experience, have agreed to join us,” said Jeffrey Rabhan, chair of the Clive Davis Institute for Recorded Music.  “Their insights have already proven invaluable, and their success stories are an inspiration to our students.”
