The New York University Bookstore will host a pair of readings in June and July: Stefanie Pintoff, author of Secret of the White Rose, on Thursday, June 23, 6:30 p.m., and Meg Cabot, author of the forthcoming Overbite, on Tuesday, July 5, 6:30 p.m. Both events, held at the NYU Bookstore’s 726 Broadway location (between Astor Place and Washington Place), are free and open to the public. Stefanie Pintoff, Secret of the White Rose

Secret of the White Rose is Stefanie Pintoff’s third novel, where early criminal science meets the dark side of old New York. Pintoff is an Edgar Award winner for Best First Novel as well as a nominee for the Anthony and Sue Feder Historical Mystery Awards.

Meg Cabot, Overbite

Meg Cabot will be giving a presentation about her adult novels Insatiable and the forthcoming  Overbite, which is due in July. Cabot’s many series of books for adults and tweens/teens have included multiple No. 1 New York Times bestsellers and have sold over 16 million copies worldwide. Her Princess Diaries series have been published in more than 38 countries and was made into two hit films by Disney. Her new series for teens, Abandon, debuts in May.
