The project is headed by three Gallatin School faculty: Peder Anker, who authored From Bauhaus to Eco-House: A History of Ecological Design, among other works; Louise Harpman, a principal in the architecture firm Specht Harpman, named one of New York City's Top 100 architects and designers by New York magazine; and Mitchell Joachim, co-founder of Planetary ONE and Terreform ONE, nonprofit organizations and design groups that integrate ecological principles in urban areas.
