“Global Issues Past and Present,”  “Literature Through the Ages,” “Bacteria, Viruses, and Immunity,” and “New York City: Long-Standing Challenges and Dynamic Change” will be among the sessions at New York University’s College of Arts and Science undergraduate research conference on Friday, April 15, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at NYU’s Silver Center (100 Washington Square East/enter at 32 Waverly Place or 31 Washington Place [wheelchair accessible]).

“NYU’s College of Arts and Science takes seriously the role of research in the liberal arts education of undergraduates,” said CAS Dean Matthew Santirocco. “Students regularly benefit from direct contact with our research faculty and are empowered and encouraged to conduct their own inquiries.”

Projects will showcase undergraduate work in the Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Other sessions, each of which is comprised of a series of student presentations, include: “Culture and Society,” “Psychology: Human Behavior and Perception,” and “Philosophical Thought.”
