The weekend of January 29-30 was a busy one for film industry awards and Tisch alumni, once again, were among the winners. On Saturday, the 2011 Sundance Festival awards were announced in Park City while the Directors Guild held its annual dinner in Los Angeles. Four alumni from the Kanbar Institute took honors at Sundance, while one Tisch alumnus took home a DGA trophy. On Sunday, the Screen Actors Guild handed out its awards and three alumni were singled out.
