OTHER PROJECTS

Maintaining Our Facilities - Local Law 11

Local Law 11 work is mandated by the City of New York and requires all buildings six floors or higher to be inspected and repaired on a regularly scheduled basis.

29 Washington Place - Brown Building

To comply with NYC's Local Law 11, we will begin façade repairs at the Brown Building at 29 Washington Place.

  • The sidewalk shed will extend 20 feet beyond the building's boundaries along Washington Place and Greene Streets.
  • This work will be happening concurrently with the Local Law work at the neighboring Silver Center.
  • Preparation for this project will begin in late May 2011 and the work is projected to be completed in August 2011.

35 Fifth Avenue - Rubin Residence Hall

To comply with NYC's Local Law 11, masonry repairs are scheduled at Rubin Residence Hall at 35 Fifth Avenue.

  • A sidewalk bridge will be installed adjacent to the building. The sidewalks will remain open at all times during the project.
  • Once the masonry repairs are complete the sidewalk bridges will be removed.
  • The project began at the end of May 2011 and is projected to be completed in August of 2011.

75 Third Avenue - Third Avenue North Residence Hall

To comply with NYC's Local Law 11, masonry repairs are scheduled at Rubin Residence Hall at Third Avenue North Residence Hall at 75 Third Avenue.

  • A sidewalk bridge will be installed adjacent to the building. The sidewalks will remain open at all times during the project.
  • Once the masonry repairs are complete the sidewalk bridges will be removed.
  • The project began at the end of May 2011 and is projected to be completed in August of 2011.
