Welcome to New York University's web site for university polices.
This web site was created for the purpose of providing a central access location and reference point for the current and official versions of University policies and procedures that affect faculty, administration, staff and students. The web site is a work in progress, and as the University continues to reinforce its commitment to promote and foster an ethical, efficient and dynamic learning and work environment, new or revised policies will be added from time to time.
New and revised policies must be formatted and developed consistent with the standards and guidelines set forth in the University's policy on Policy Development and Management, often referred to as the "Policy on Polices." As a central repository for existing, new and revised policies, this web site serves to standardize policy format, eliminate redundancies; improve organization, accessibility, search and navigation; and, clarify processes for submitting new and revised policies.
The policies are organized in categories as noted in the menu below. Some policies may be listed in multiple categories. All faculty, staff and students are expected to be familiar with and abide by University policies.
