University Compliance Officer

Robert F. Roach is the University Compliance Officer at New York University. Mr. Roach's previous academic experience includes the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary (Assistant Professor, Trial Advocacy, Constitutional Litigation); John Jay College (Adjunct Professor, Constitutional Law), Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University (Instructor, Trial Advocacy). While in Virginia, Mr. Roach served as counsel to the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia.

Prior to joining NYU in December 2006, Mr. Roach was Chief of Staff for the New York City Department of Investigation. Mr. Roach was also an Assistant District Attorney in the Rackets Bureau at the New York County District Attorney's Office, and an Assistant Attorney General and Section Chief of the Antitrust Bureau of the New York Attorney General's Office. He is a 1978 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center.
