2009 NYU Community Fund Recipients

The NYU Community Fund is a workplace charitable giving program that awards grants to local nonprofit organizations. These organizations are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the neighborhoods surrounding NYU and the people who live in them. Their community work and outreach programs effect visible changes we can all be proud of.

The Community Fund has raised and distributed over $2,500,000 to hundreds of nonprofit organizations since its inception in 1982. All monies are donated voluntarily from employee paychecks, and 100% of every employee-contributed dollar goes towards funding a community organization, with all administrative costs covered by the University.
