Repairs are necessary for various curbs and sidewalks surrounding the New York University School of Dentistry.

Project Timeline
 

  • The project is scheduled to start on July 11 and expected to end on or around September 1, 2013.
  • The project will consecutively target the sidewalks on 24th Street, 25th Street, and 1st Avenue. Work will be completed on one block before demolition is begun again on another. The above sequencing is subject to change.
  • The beginning of work on each block will require approximately one week of demolition.
  • The project timeline and work hours are subject to change due to inclement weather.

Scope of Work

 

  • The process for replacing the sidewalk and curbing involves: demolition of the existing sidewalk, installation of structural curbing, and pouring of new sidewalk concrete.
  • Sidewalk demolition will involve approximately one week of jack hammering.
  • The project will target the sidewalks on 24th Street, 25th Street, and 1st Avenue.
