Superblock Water Line Repairs

Critical water line repairs on the superblocks will begin on September 29.  

Wash. Sq. Village Sidewalk Repairs

September 26, 2014
On September 30, the NYC Department of Design and Construction will begin sidewalk work around Washington Square Village. 

14-16 Wash. Place

September 22, 2014
The courtyard floor has been removed, and contractors have begun installing insulation, waterproofing membranes, and new pavers. This will require the removal and re-installation of bricks at the building's base. The Con Edison vault on Greene Street remains open, and minor internal work continues.  

3 Wash. Square Village Commity Board 2 Offices

Due to weather delays demolition is scheduled to continue through late September. 

4 Washington Place

Meyer Bldg Repairs

September 16, 2014
Crane use will close West 4th St to vehicular traffic between Mercer St and Broadway on Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, October 5.

Broadway-facing windows on two floors are scheduled to be replaced the week of September 29. Read more »
