Early this month, NYU's Office of Government and Community Affairs hosted neighbors for an intimate look at the newly renovated Brittany Hall dormitory.
Many of NYU's student accomodations exist side-by-side with residential buildings in New York City. This evening, we gave some of the University's neighbors a chance for a behind-the-scenes peek at the dorm next door.
Between December 2012 and August 2013, NYU undertook a long-overdue full upgrade of Brittany Hall, which included refurbishing the living spaces, residential life offices, common areas, and life safety systems. The renovations not only modernized these spaces for use, but allowed for critical energy efficiency enhancements as well. Learn more about the project at its construction page.
