Thom A. Fluellen Award

Thom A. Fluellen

The Thom A. Fluellen Award was established to honor the late Staff Director of Community & Government Relations and his tireless efforts for his community. Every year the selection committee awards one outstanding organization that demonstrates the excellence that Thom made evident in his work, life, and commitment to New York University with a grant of $5,000.

Thom A. Fluellen also served as the Associate Director of Community & Government Relations and served on the University Senate representing the Administrative Management Council. In 1998, Thom was awarded the Distinguished Administrator Award for his accomplishments at New York University.

The Thom A. Fluellen award honors Thom's tireless efforts for his community, for his devotion to his family and friends, for his great sense of humor, and, most importantly, for teaching all who knew him how to live life to the fullest.
