Find an Internship

Internship Requirements

• Be a full-time student in good standing at NYU
• Hold a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Receive prior approval from academic advisor
• Be able to work four hours per week for 10 consecutive weeks
• Provide letter of recommendation from NYU faculty member or member of an organization where previous volunteer work was completed
• Track hours by having a sign-in sheet at internship location
• Report to agency supervisor for daily tasks and project assignments
• Complete Intern Exit Evaluation after internship concludes

Application Process

Application packets are available in the NYU Community Fund's Office, 25 West 4th Street, Room 501

The complete Internship Application must contain:

• Completed Internship Application form
• Letter of recommendation from an academic advisor, faculty member, or nonprofit representative
• Copy of the applicant's current resume
