All venues (i.e., the Kimmel Center, the Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life, the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, and the Torch Club) provide in-house audio/visual technology.
Kimmel Media Services
For events in the Kimmel Center and the Global Center, dedicated support is provided by Kimmel Media Services—a strong team of highly trained media and technology professionals. KMS consults with each client on an individual basis to tailor the best media solution for each event, including the best laptops and projection technology, built-in or augmented sound systems, and cutting-edge videoconference communication technology.
KMS has handled a wide range of events with great success: conferences, professional film screenings, lectures large and small, concerts, and blow-out parties, and everything in between.
In addition to an extensive in-house inventory, the KMS team has cultivated longstanding relationships with top local vendors in the tri-state area to further augment available technology.
Pricing
Pricing is à la carte, though KMS offers several convenient event packages tailored to a few select venues. Individual consultations are available upon request.
One example package, for the Kimmel Center’s Eisner & Lubin Auditorium, costs $775.00 and includes:
- PC laptop
- Laptop audio connection + wireless remote mouse (equipped with laser pointer)
- Video/data projector + screen
- Podium with presidential microphone set
- Two wireless hand-held microphones on stands for Q&A sessions
- CD/DVD player
- Built-in sound system (tier 1)
- Basic stage wash light set
- Wi-Fi access
