Transcending Communications Barriers in NYC

Welcome to the WBB website

beyond borders Words Beyond Borders aims to transgress cultural boundaries found both within the New York University community, as well as in the greater New York City area, by constructing a network of multilingual students available to serve both NYU and the surrounding community. By working as interpreters, either on-campus or off-campus, these students enrich not only their personal understanding of culture and identity, but also the lives of those individuals who find it difficult to communicate in such a multicultural environment.

End of Semester Reception

Wednesday, April 30, 2008
6:30 p.m., Kimmel Center 907

There has been a change of plans, we will not be naming our officers at our reception as previously advertised. However, if you did apply, please try to make an effort to come to our reception. We would be very happy to get to know you a little better and if you can't come, don't worry, it will not affect whether you get the position or not.

As the school year comes to an end, this is our last time to gather together as a club and recognize all of the hard work that we have put into making our club a huge success. Come celebrate with us as we look back at our year, name our Most Valuable Member of 2007-2008, and say goodbye to our graduating Seniors. We look forward to having you join us
