IPSA MEMBERS

IPSA members can get involved with any of the committees:

Brown Bag speaker series - IPSA invites speakers from various international backgrounds to give talks in their areas of expertise.
These events happen two to three times a year and are a great way to get information about various international development issues.

"Reel Food for Thought" - the committee selects various foriegn flims to view and talk about. Topics range all over the international spectrum.

"IPSA Spring Conference" - IPSA's biggest event of the year! In 2005 Jeffery Sachs and Bill Easterly were the guests. Paul Farmer will be here for the 2006 conference. This is traditionally one of the biggest annual events for Wagner!

Community building - For those who want to be involved in planning smaller, more social events centered around the international community at NYU, Wagner, and New York City. Events, such as an UN or community tour, are organized. This is IPSA's new committee so members can help be a part of organizing activities that fit in with their own interests.
