Sara Hurwitz is Rabbah of the Hebrew
Institute of Riverdale. She is also the Curricular Researcher and Writer
for JOFA's Gender and Orthodoxy Curriculum Project. She graduated from
Drisha Institute for
Jewish Education
3-year Scholars Circle Program, received a B.A. from
Barnard College,
Columbia University, studied at
Midreshet Lindenbaum in
Israel, and served
as a CLAL Fellow.

New York University!
Join us for a day of programming, learning, networking, and action with
Jewish social justice
leaders from college campuses around the country. Together we will
explore Jewish texts relating to issues of Orthodoxy and social justice,
develop social justice visions for our campus communities, and build
relationships with other
student leaders. Uri L’Tzedek is seeking college students who are
committed to the mission of Uri L’Tzedek: education, leadership
development, and action to create discourse, inspire leaders and empower
the Jewish community toward creating a more just world. We are looking
for NYU students to join us on Shabbat, February 20,2010.
