IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. OBAMA introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Rules and Administration

A BILL

To establish the Department of United Hope (DUH) and Department of Independent Change (DIC)

               Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SHORT TITLE.

               This Act may be cited as the ‘Hope for Obama’s Change Bill of 2008’.

TITLE I. DEPARTMENT OF UNITED HOPE, DEPARTMENT OF INDEPENDENT CHANGE

   SEC. 101. EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENTS; MISSION.

         (a) There is established a Department of United Hope (DUH), and a Department of Independent Change (DIC) as executive departments of the United States within the meaning of title 5, United States Code.

         (b) The primary mission of the Department of Hope is to-

                  (1) provide Hope within the United States, as defined by Sen. Obama (See SEC. 102.b);

                  (2) take reasonable measures towards achieving the realization of all things desired, expected by, aspired to, prayed, wished, or otherwise hoped for by the American people; and

                  (3) reduce the vulnerability of the United States to despair.

          (c) The primary mission of the Department of Change is to-

                  (1) provide Change within the United States, as defined by Sen. Obama (See SEC. 102.b);

                  (2) take reasonable measures towards altering, shifting, adjusting, transforming, modifying, reforming, remodeling, improving, or otherwise changing the status quo of any and all things desired to be different by the American people; and

                  (3) reduce the vulnerability of the United States to stability

SEC. 102. EXPLORATORY COMMITTEE; MISSION.

          (a) There is established a Committee Regarding the Exploration Towards the Inherent Nature of Hope And Change (CRETIN-HAC) within the meaning of title 5, United States Code.

          (b) The sole mission of the Committee is to extract a definitions of the word “Hope” and “Change” from Sen. Obama, which are as of yet undefined.
