Naqvi (Chairman of Islamic Information Center in Maryland), will talk about Karbala, a cornerstone of Islamic history, because the Prophet Muhammad's beloved grandson, Hussein, was martyred there on the 10th of Muharram (Ashura). His death stands as a testimony to the greatness of the Prophet's family and to the endurance and supreme sacrifice that saved Islam from tyranny and oppression in the difficult years that followed Muhammad's death (peace be upon him).
