The E-Board
Hi all, this is Victoria E. Jackson, the Co-President of the Organization of Black Women. I am a Steinhardt senior majoring in Applied Psychology, minoring in Africana Studies. I plan to become a Child Psychologist and consultant to State Children Services Agencies that focus on Foster and Adopted Youth and School Psychology Researcher. I love children, which is the primary reason behind my desired profession; my other passion is the performing arts. Hi! My name is Afiya Edwards and I am OBW's Vice-President for the 2008-2009 academic year. I am a senior majoring in Metropolitan Studies and minoring in Computer Applications. I am looking forward to working with OBW for another year, generating more successes. What I love about OBW is what happens behind the scenes and beyond the walls of Kimmel. Whether it is volunteering with children or watching a play, OBW members strengthen each other through camaraderie and a bond that you would have to witness in order to understand. OBW is a community of strong independent women who have an extremely dynamic network; anything is possible.
