About Us
While we are the Organization of Black Women, you do not have to be a woman or black to attend our meetings and participate in our activities. All are welcome! So please do join us! OBW has been in existence for over 20 years serving the NYU population. Since the aim of OBW is to empower black women by addressing the needs of black women, we have general meetings and special events to address these very needs. As you can see, we have a guide to New York for NYU students (freshman and transfer students are especially encouraged to check it out) in the navigation section to the left. You can also take a look at some of our most dedicated members and get to know the the executive board a little more as well. And I said, all are welcome, so I hope to see you soon!
