This year the Latino Heritage Conference will focus on many aspects of Latino life in the United States. The first workshop will consist of professionals with plenty of life experience and information to share with all attendees. Fields of expertise range from law, to medicine, to humanitarian work. Traditionally the Latino Heritage Conference has focused and celebrated women, this year we will continue that tradition by reflecting on the social and political progress women have made over the past 2 decades in the United States and around the world. Lastly we will like to connect students and attendees with some of the many resources that NYU and the New York City community has to offer. It is through the maximization of the use of these resources that we will be able to take full advantages of this great city and university and reach out potentials.
All students and guests are welcome to participate in the conference happening throughout the day in the Kimmel Student Center located on 60 Washington Square park South between Thompson and La Guardia.
