You Me and the Wind
by Denise Kung, Special Contributor

The wind blows hard and threatens to take me away.
You are there beside me to keep me grounded.
Your face is near mine and you kiss my cheek.
It feels like a little sensation on my face,
like stars dancing merrily to silent music.
The wind blows even harder now,
determined to take me away from you.
With this you hold me even tighter
because you are determined to keep me with you.
You hold me as strong as the wind blows.
I feel comfortable in your arms and showered by your kisses.
It feels like the night sky embracing me.
Finally the wind gives up and surrenders me to you.
At last, we can be still and enjoy each other's company,
just watching the world go by.
