Swans
by Denise Kung, Special Contributor

Under the light of the full moon
We are alone but not.
The weeping willows give us shelter
a little place which we can call our perfect world
a world where we can get away from it all
away from the pressures of daily life
where no one can disturb our peace
no one to set rules on us
The water beneath us is calm
the breeze greets us
with its gentle cool greetings
the stars dance merrily above us
they follow the sweet music of love
we enjoy the moment of bliss together
content just be in each other's presence
glad to be here and nowhere else
because we are here together
forever.
