Untitled (1)
by Sharon Ching, Staff Writer

I like to think in black and white photos

See the shadows turn to shades of gray

Turn to black turn to white again

Picking out moments missed before

Eyes cleared to see the story

Behind those wrinkles and behind those dimples

And behind those smiles and behind those eyes

Snapshots of the beautiful and of the ugly and

Of the tortured and of the lost

All bending my mind

All making me remember

Making me jump and tear my flesh

Making me run about in reckless ecstasy

Making me dance beneath snowing skies

I like to think in black and white photos
