Second Generation is a non-profit theater company dedicated to creating and nurturing a cultural voice for Asian Americans. Through its presentation of daring and original Asian American works, the company seeks to give a voice and a home to a new generation of theater artists and a new generation of theater-goers. 2g's work has been called "promising," "energetic," and "hopeful" by the New York Times, and "making Asian American history," by NBC's Today in New York. Second Generation is also the recipient of CBS Television's Fulfilling the Dream Award, in recognition of those who have furthered the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
