A lil bit of history

Hi there! The Gallatin Theatre Troupe was created by a few Gallatin students about 5 years ago interested in creating an environment for students outside of the Tisch school to perform and explore theatre.  We are here to continue with that mission and simply help people explore possibilities in theatre; whether it be by helping to get group rates to shows, or putting on student written productions, or having nights of musical revue or even putting on full fledged musicals.  We hope to continue to foster this environment and help it to grow as well.  We know that a lot of people are interested in theatre, (it truly is amazing) and it is our goal to help these people explore their interests.

If you are interested at all please try to attend our meetings or join our listserv through NYU Home.  You can join our listserv by logging in to NYU Home and going to the ‘lists’ section in the Home tab.  Under this section there is a ‘Browse and Subscribe to an NYU List’ button.  Click it and then search for ‘gallatin-theater’ and you will be able to check the box next to our name.  Then go to the bottom of the page and select Subscribe. (You can do this to join any public NYU List).

If you feel uncomfortable doing that or can’t join through NYU Home or are simply having problems feel free to email us at gtt at gallatinstudent dot com
