Science as Religion

This week, let's all play The Atheist Drinking Game: every time somebody comes at you with a condescending smirk and some version of the question: "but isn't faith in science and reason just as much a religion as faith in God?", take a drink of whatever's closest to you. Then, if you're not totally incapacitated/sleeping it all off by Thursday night, come join AAF to discuss this timeworn question and exchange ideas about how to respond. I know we all hear this question enough to want to talk about it, so come out and join the fray.
Also, last week's screening of "Revelations" was such a hit that we decided to do it again. If you weren't intrigued by the stalker nun, silly effects and and God striking down 10-year-olds with lightning (twice!) we really don't know what we can do for you anyway.
