Note about signing up for events Brothers, whenever you sign up for an event electronically or in-person during general meetings, please understand that signing up signifies that you are committing to come to the event. Unless you notify us 24 hours in advance, we are expecting you to attend the event that you sign up for. Here are a couple of reasons why we ask/expect your commitment when signing up for an event: 1. Our E-board members and the committee members ensure that we do not leave anyone behind when we meet to attend service and fellowship events. If you do not notify us of your absence ahead of time, we will wait for you. 2. We do not like being late for service events. This reflects badly on both our officers, and our fraternity. Rather than having us show up to an event late because we waited for you, let us know ahead of time if you decide not to attend an event you committed to. 3. We contact service organizations in advance about the number of brothers attending each event, and many service organizations plan service events appropriate for our group size. Therefore, if 8 brothers sign up and only 2 brothers show up, we will not be able to complete the service event that the service organization organized for us. Thanks for your understanding! Upcoming Community Service Events The minimum service hour requirement for all brothers this semester is 15 hours. Friday, Sept 25.
