MINUTES
Attendance: Tai, Chris, Davidx2, Jeff, Asami, Jenn, Kerry, Angie, Sakeen, Raghu, Clover, Danielle

Here's what happened today....

Tai announced that we won the Joseph Scanlon Membership Award [apologies if that's spelled incorrectly...] for growth in chapter membership.

Kerry asked which of the following we would rather do:

1. Saturday, October 27: Halloween in Prospect Park performers. Costume/Makeup provided. Full day attendance required, from 9 AM to 4 PM.

2. Sunday, October 28: Also Halloween in Prospect Park, but with the Autobahn Society. Face painting, storytelling, and arts and crafts. Helping the captain load/unload boat passengers. Either 11:45-2:30 or 2:30-5:00.

We voted for Option 2.

THIS SATURDAY: Meals on Wheels, from 10:15 to around noon.

Tai also told us that he's signed us up to plant trees around New York City. The organization plants trees all year long, so we aren't sure when this is going to happen since they haven't gotten back to us yet.

Kerry also asked if anyone would be interested in making holiday cards (Thanksgiving, Christmas....) for the socially-isolated elderly. This'll be done on our own time and with our own supplies. Some people were interested, so we're keeping the idea in mind.

For the rest of the meeting, we filled out the Annual Chapter Evaluations in small groups, and then discussed our answers.

So yup.....that's all folks. Seeya all next week!

September 16, 2007

heyoo,

This tuesday, we will be having our general meeting at 5:00 PM in Kimmel Room 804. At 5:30 PM, potential pledges will start coming in for our pb&j event. Once we finish pb&j, we're going to head over to St.Alps for free bubble tea! TRY TO REMEMBER TO BRING DUES.

After this week, general meetings will be held on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM instead of 5. Also, since kimmel reservations is retarded, meeting rooms will be different every week. I have attached the year's room schedule. Every week, I will be reminding via email the room number. There will also be notices at the kimmel elevator doors on the 8th and 9th floor indicating which room to go to. Yes, it's annoying but hopefully I'll make it easier for everyone.

See you on Tuesday!!!
