[as sent out from ERICA]

\If you are interested in getting a lettered zip up hoodie this semester, please speak up and give me your size. This company, Gildan, I believe to run rather small. I am checking up on the sizing this weekend to make sure.
A refresher if you will: BLACK hoodie (change of color), with Royal blue outlining Gold greek "APO" vertically going on the heart side of the chest, with ":Name: " (in Brush Script) and "BETA IOTA" (in Roman Capitalized Italics) on the other side. Should be hot and should be between $35 and $40.

Last call because I want to get names in by this weekend or early next week.

RELAY FOR LIFE: IS NEXT WEEKEND!! Reminder, we are doing APO service to you, we're painting nails, giving quick massages, and henna tattooing for our fundraiser. Anyone who is willing to donate some nail polish from their collection, anyone with a color that they don't mind giving up because it wasn't right anyway, let me know. Jin and I have a few. We need to know so that we can buy more if we need to.

Don't forget to sign up for Relay if you haven't already done so. If you are unable to go or unwilling to pay the augmented entrance/mandatory donation of $15, then there is also the MS Walk at the South Street Seaport in the AM on April 19th. I believe that to be 8:30AM. Not sure.

FELLOWSHIP:
FOOD RUN TOMORROW!
Starts at 7PM at Kimmel. We need as many brothers there because this is also a pledge/brother fellowship. The pledges are counting on us! I am going, and I was suppose to go to ACE. So please let me know if you can go.
Reminder: This is an event where we take places of food interest and get an order or two and share it back at Kimmel... sounds like Fun!! Should cost under $5 per person... that's a lot of food!

ELEGANCE ON THE WATER
An IRHC event, that if enough APO brothers are interest, can be an APO event too. It's a night on the water, a mini cruise around the East and Hudson River, food and dancing in a semi-formal atmosphere, $20, on April 17th (the night before Relay... APO weekend!!), boat boards at 7PM. Anyone interested, please emai Jeannie.

Hello everyone,

Just a few minutes before you go off to relax on Spring Break...

RELAY FOR LIFE: we need to find a fundraising idea.  We need to think of other ideas so we have a variety to choose from.  So please brainstorm.
So far we have...
1.) bringing back Henna Tattoos.
2.) "Ugliest Man on Campus"= putting coins in jars (I believe) to vote the ugliest of all NYU....

FELLOWSHIP:
Would anyone be interested in going to a Mets game?  Jeannie is trying to get us a deal through NYU to get tickets to be between $10-$15.  Give us a heads up if you would be interested!

SERVICE: Special Olympics April 4th... Refer to Sharon's email.

BANQUET: Please make sure to pay attention to Jeannie's email.  Or contact Jeannie if you have yet to pay.  jeannie.huang@nyu.edu.  Cost $40 but includes a buffet meal, unlimited drinks and KARAOKE... and a raffle!

*** NOTE: Some pledges want to come to the banquet and it has been discussed as an option... Instead of getting your little the mandatory t-shirt, as outlined before in the requirements to be Bigs, you may subsidize a portion of their banquet money.  This is just a heads up should your little ask you for this option so that they can spend time with you and get to learn about APO fellowship.  Just to let you know, the discount will be in place of the price of a t-shirt.

OK.  Thanks for listening all.  Hope you have a great spring break.  Relax and come back refreshed!! See you in little more than a week!

***PS>  For those of you who didn't join us at Wagner College for Section 97's (That's us, Wagner, and Hunter) Sectionals, you missed a great time.  It was a fun and very informative day in Staten Island.  For those who are able to be with us next year, our Alpha Gamma Gamma Chapter at Hunter College will be hosting Sectionals.  Make it your priority to come to this.  It's good... building brotherhood inter-sectionally and as an individual chapter.***

apo rush week! feb 2 - feb 6

***PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
As we are trying to make sure we maintain quality and not boost quantity, please do not advertise how "easy" APO can be.  We are turning over a new leaf.  In the words of Jenn to me, "of course answer the questions truthfully but emphasize the community service and brotherhood aspect of us too we just need to word it in a way that we still ask for a certain level of commitment". So keep this in mind when you represent and advertise APO.

2. RUSH WEEK
Week of February 2nd to February 6th, 2009

A list of times, days and events are listed on the

All are welcome if not encouraged to come to the rush events.  Meet the potential pledges and and others brothers in the fraternity you may not have known as close before.  **There will be a set amount of hours you dedicate that will go towards service.**
Also, if you have some board games or something that would be a great addition to games night, let Linda Chen know... lmc419@nyu.edu
