AAWA addresses, confronts, and raises awareness for issues of importance to Asian American women in the NYU community, acknowledging that such issues are not necessarily fully dealt with at either the Women's Center or various Asian ethnic clubs. Through providing resources and networking with off-campus organizations, AAWA also celebrates the diversity of New York City's urban environment while supporting its student community.
