Trinculo & Stephano

Trinculo is a clownish figure, he is Antonio's jester, who washes up alone. A good friend of Stephano and very fond of wine, he gets involved in a scheme with Stephano and Caliban to kill Prospero and take over the island.

Stephano is another clownish figure. This is Alonso's butler, who also spends most of his time tipsy. He is the "god" whom Caliban worships, and conspires inefficiently with him and Trinculo to kill Prospero and take over the island.

Trinculo & Stephano are represented by Lenny & Squiggy of Laverne & Shirley: Lenny & Squiggy are two best friends who play the fool in life. They are always scheming for a way to become wealthy or famous. However, just like Trinculo & Stephano's plans, they are always foiled and end up looking ridiculous. The four guys also have another thing in common: liquor.
