Antonio

Antonio is the evil brother of Prospero, from whom he usurped the position of Duke of Milan twelve years ago. He was the one that sent Prospero and Miranda to the island in the first place. When he is washed up on the same island he is angry and weak. He plots with Sebastian to kill Alonso and Gonzalo, but his plan fails.

Antonio is represented by Nellie Oleson of Little House on the Prairie: Nellie Oleson is a spoiled, mean, and conniving child. The same can be said of Antonio. Even though Antonio is a grown man, he behaves like a calculating child. Nellie Oleson lies at the core of Antonio. With Antonio's jealousy and trickery, this part of him becomes his entirety.
