My Dream Cast for

"Dallas 1963: Caesar in the South"

Below is my casting for this "dream movie." It combines Shakespeare's brilliant script with the city that surrounded JFK's assassination. Under the actor's name is my reasoning why they should be granted a role in this upcoming hit!

Michael Douglas is Julius Caesar

He's always the bad guy, so why not give him a chance to be the fallen hero?

Katharine Zeta Jones is Calphurnia

If I'm gonna have Michael Douglass, wouldn't she just make sense?

Larry Hagman is  Marcus Brutus

When I think of Dallas, this guy just comes to mind. He was always good at backstabbing on that awesome '80s tv show.

Pamela Lee is Portia

Well, she stands by Tommy Lee, so being married to Marcus Brutus will seem like old hat to her!

Dustin Diamond is Lucius (The Servant)

He's so good at running errands for Mr. Belding on Saved By The Bell, I figured that I'd give him a shot on the big screen!

Ricky Martin is Caius Cassius

I cast all of the conspirators as current Teenybopper stars, so who better to be the leader of the boy band stars (a.k.a. The Patricians) than this guy?

'N Sync are Casca, Cinna, Deciues Brutus, Caius Ligarus, and Metellus Cimber

With this casting, I'm getting five for the price of one. Singing patricians... this is sure to bring in the MTV crowd!

James VanDerbeek is Trebonius

Rounding out my teenybopper conspirator casting, who better to play the final patrician than Dawson himself?!?

Mark Anthony is Mark Antony

No one will get confused about his name this way.

Regis and Kathy Lee are Lepidus and Octavius

Who better to rule over Rome &  follow Mark Antony everywhere, offering commentary on everything he does?

Dionne Warwick is the Soothsayer

Hello??? It just makes sense!

Liz Smith is Cinna, the poet

OK, so she may not be a poet, but her acting might surpass that of columnist/drama queen Michel Mastro's

Megan Mullaly is Flavius

The infamous Karen of "Will & Grace" fame as a tribune, along with her costar, will turn the tribunes into an entertaining comedic duo.

Sean Hayes is Marullus

Jack on "Will & Grace." His comedic timing will bring much needed humor to the role of the tribune.

Bob Dole is Cicero

An old annoying senator playing an old annoying senator...method acting I guess.

Hillary Clinton is Publius

In her run for New York Senate, I figured I'd give her a shot at playing a senator onscreen first.

Mayor Guiliani is Popilius Lena

Same deal as with Hilary, but I figured Pompous Guiliani is perfect for Popilius.

Hallie Kate Eisenberg is everyone else

This girl does it all and how old is she? 7? She's perfect to take up the rear and play all of the minor parts!
