The Shubert Theatre

This theater was named for Sam S. Shubert, one of the infamous producing brothers, who was killed in a train wreck, and it is still under Shubert control. At the time of its construction, zoning laws required that all theatres have alleys attached to their side entrances. The shared side walls of this theatre and the Booth theatre form the famous Shubert alley. It contains 1513 seats.

Past Productions include: The Philadelphia Story and A Chorus Line.
