This theater, once entitled The Globe, was designed with grand entrances, and the people who like to make them, in mind.
From the balcony, above the door, audience members are able to spot the new arrivals entering the theater.
Originally roved by a dome that was opened when the weather was good, the theater was refurbished and renamed in 1957 by the Nederlanders.
Patrons say that its 1,475 seats are excellent in all locations, and the orchestra is amazing.
Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling that is decorated by a 100-ft. mural.
Past Productions include: George White Sandals, Little Me, Private Lives, and Titanic.
Current production is Beauty and the Beast.
