The John Golden Theatre

252 West 45th Street

This venue was first built as the Theatre Masque in 1927 as a home of fine plays of the artistic or intimate type. In 1937 it was renamed for producer/author John Golden. It was used as a film house in the 40's and early 50's and is unique because the orchestra section is divided down the middle instead of in the usual three sections. It is currently Shubert owned and seats 805.

Past Productions include: Waiting for Godot, The Gin Game, and Glengary Glen Ross.

Current production is Stones in His Pockets.
