First built as "The Forest Theatre" in 1925,
it was renovated and renamed "The Corenette" in 1945.
Neil Simon bought it in the 1960's and owned it until 1982.
Again the Shubert Organization had something to do with this theatre too - but they don't own it -
it's owned by the Jujamcyns and in 1959 - the theatre was named after the only American playwright to win the Nobel Prize.
It seats over 1100 people.
Past Productions include: Tobacco Road, All My Sons, and Grease.
Current production is The Full Monty.
