This playhouse first opened in 1926 and was originally named "The Mansfield Theatre".
In 1960, the theatre was renamed after the longtime New York Times Drama Critic - Brooks Atkinson.
This honor made him the first theatrical critic in recorded history to have a theatre named for him.
It seats over 1000 people.
Past Productions include: Come Blow Your Horn, Noises Off, and On the Waterfront.
