The Broadway Theatre

1681 Broadway

It was first built as a movie house 70 years ago. In 1974, it was gutted and renovated for the revival of Candide. Today, it is owned by the Shubert Organization and is mostly used for "last stop shows". The theatre seats over 1700 people.

Past productions include: This Is the Army, Carmen Jones, Gypsy, The Happy Time, The Wiz, and Evita.

Current production is Blast!.
