Melissa Etheridge is a singer/songwriter who proudly announced her homosexuality at the 1993 Presidental Inauguration. In April of 2002, she performed in and helped organize the largest benefit concert in history for the Human Rights Campaign's "Equality Rocks" program. On her newest album SKIN, Melissa plays all of the instrumental tracks herself.
